City, University of London, the FDA’s Center for Devices & Radiological Health (CDRH), and the Society for Technology in Anesthesia are pleased to announce the International Symposium of Innovations & Applications of Monitoring Oxygenation & Ventilation (IAMPOV).
The goal of this meeting is to explore new developments and innovations in oxygenation and ventilation monitoring technologies and clinical applications. The international roster of speakers is an assembly of world renown scientists and clinicians in the fields of engineering, physics, and medicine. Articles and abstracts generated from this symposium will be published on-line.
IAMPOV 2020 follows the previously held symposiums; 2015 at St Luke’s International University, 2012 at Yale University, 2007 at Duke University, and 2002 held in Lübeck, Germany. These meetings have traditionally attracted more than 150 participants. We anticipate the upcoming symposium will have an attendance of 200 medical professionals, engineers and device developers.
MEETING FORMAT
The planning committee has sought internationally known speakers to present topics relevant to the monitoring of perfusion, oxygenation and ventilation. The format of the program will include plenary lectures, scientific poster presentations and opportunity for vendor participation through scientific exhibits. The ultimate goal is to establish an environment leading to greater collaboration between academics, clinicians and industry.
